屋頂上的提琴手作者去世 享年98

《屋頂上的提琴手》劇作家約瑟夫史坦在紐約去世，享年98歲。
《屋頂上的提琴手》原本是希伯來文的一個短篇故事，史坦把它改編成音樂劇，後來又寫成電影劇本。故事以烏克蘭大草原上，一個名為（安那塔夫卡）的猶太聚落為背景。當時是帝俄時代的末期，即將爆發十月革命，可是排猶政策依然雷厲風行，威脅著故事主人翁一家的生活。它反應出流亡世界各地、無根的猶太人，就靠著文化與傳統，宗教和習俗，維持種族不滅。
《屋頂上的提琴手》拿過東尼獎和多得數不清的獎項。作者史坦晚年罹患了攝護腺癌，不過他是因為摔跤引起的併發症去世。
當年看《屋頂上的提琴手》這部片子時，還很年輕。現在回想，只記得看過，而且很好看，更記得主題曲Sunrise Sunset的旋律。但是，電影演什麼？歌詞唱什麼？完全不記得。現在重看歌詞，看到歌詞內充分流露為人父母的心情，感同身受啊！
